With a uniform red colour and delightful, well-defined flavour, PGI Bresaola della Valtellina from Pozzoli is characterised by its high protein content and low fat content. The selection of ingredients is of fundamental importance: only the best cuts of bovine thighs, carefully selected and knowingly infused with natural seasonings and salt, make it possible to produce such soft, flavourful bresaola.

The valleys near Sondrio, Italy are where our PGI Bresaola della Valtellina is made.

The fresh, dry, aromatic air descends from the Alps, mixing with the milder air of the valley floor. Since 1875, Pozzoli has produced its bresaola here, fully respecting Italian traditions, using only the best cuts of bovine thighs and the scrupulous care that exalts their quality and flavour.
